Happening: A Christian Experience

November 21-23, 2008

Advent Episcopal Church, West Bloomfield

(sponsored by the Diocese of Michigan)

Happening - A Christian Experience is a retreat program for high school youth used throughout the Episcopal Church. Each fall in the dioceses of Michigan and Eastern Michigan, teens get together for a weekend to talk about the reality of faith in their lives, and share with each other what it means for them to be part of a Christian community. Happening specifically aims to encourage faith and leadership in young people by creating an environment where teens lead one another in sharing their stories of faith, and deepening their discipleship. Throughout the retreat, participants will have the chance to pray, play, and praise, all led by a team of youth and supportive adults. All youth in grades 9-12 are invited to participate. For registration information, please contact Beth Rowley at browley@edomi.org or 313- 833-4421
