Congregational Leadership Days 2010

   

    

Congregational Leadership Days are a gathering of clergy and laity from around our Diocese to come together to hear from the Bishop and his staff.  It is a day of training for vestry members and education for all.

The day includes a Plenary session by the Bishop

and Individual Workshops led by his staff.

Prayer, Bible study, lunch and networking will also be included. 

 This is our best opportunity to build community and one of our

primary ways of communicating in the Diocese.

  

The Plenary sessions will be on General Convention and working together with our partners in mission & ministry with the Episcopal Dioceses of the Dominican Republic (Iglesia Episcopal Dominicana), Eastern Michigan and Michigan.

    

The workshops (pick one) will be

• Congregational Health – A heart for Mission – Anne Reed & Cong Dev. Colleagues
• Healthy Conflict Resolution – Bill Spaid

Who is Invited?  

All Clergy & Laity who are involved in congregational leadership are invited and welcomed. 

Vestry members and wardens are expected to attend and other leaders and laity who work for the church are encouraged.  

This day is vital for the entire vestry, including returning members, as many of the topics covered will be new. 

This is our best opportunity to build community and one of our primary ways of communicating in the Diocese.

   How do we register

Preregistration & pre-payment are requried.

  

Cost is $15 per person

The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, as we need to order food for each location ahead of time.  Financial assistance is available and must be requested before the day of the event by contacting Tammy Mazure
