Dear Parishes,
We have received communication from Deacon Bob Snow,Administrator of the Episcopal Scholarship Program in ourCompanion Diocese of the Dominican Republic, that they arelooking forward to the new school year and seeking scholarship donations from all who are interested in sponsoring a child in the Episcopal school system. The cost is $300.00 a year to sponsor a child. Above is a student at LaBombita and is one of the children that has been sponsored in the past. The needis 700 scholarships from the United States this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the youth in our companion diocese through pictures and E-mail communications throughout the school year. Please post a notice in your Sunday bulletins!
