The Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan had its first convention December 2, 1874.

We are comprised of 15,000 communicants in 58 communities of faith, including 4 seasonal chapels, on the west side of Michigan stretching from the Straits of Mackinac to the Indiana border.  We are members of the 5th Province of the Episcopal Church in the greater Anglican Communion.
