Who's invited?
- Clergy & parishoners who perform ministries in their parishes
What is the cost?
- $25 per person, with a cap of $100 per parish (if you have more than 4 people, the others are free)
- There is financial assistance available for people who would not otherwise be able to attend. Contact Gennie Callard about that.
Where is it being held?
Can I attend part of the gathering, and where do I stay over if I want to attend the entire 2 days?
- You may attend one day or both. The majority of the cost is for materials & brining in our keynote speaker, so the cost is the same. There is financial assistance available for people who would not otherwise be able to attend. Contact Gennie Callard about that.
- If you want to stay over, the cost of the gathering does not cover lodging. However, there will be a number of hotels in the area to pick from
What will the schedule be?
- We will begin at 10:00am on both day and ending at 5:00 on Friday & 3:00 on Saturday.
- There will be both keynote times (highly interactive) & break-out workshops. (these are put on by people in our Dioceses & we have workshops for people who do all kinds of ministries. In the past they've included: outreach, altar guild as formation, new ideas for children's ministries, the Emerging Church, young adults in your church, youth ministry in small parishes and beefing up your adult formation)
- We will also have lunch and a continental breakfast on both days
Who will be the keynote speaker?
 |
- Emily Perow, the Province I Youth Ministries Coordinator & Diocesan of Connecticut
- Emily Perow promotes youth ministry and coordinates diocesan-wide events. She consults with parishes interested in developing or expanding their youth group, and serves as a contact for youth and adults who work with youth interested in greater diocesan or national church involvement.

- Emily currently serves on the eccumenical committee for The Episcopal Church & the committee for Life-Long Formation.
- As a young person, Emily was on the Episcopal Youth Event design team.
- With over 20 years of professional experience in The Episcopal Church, she will be able to lead us in conversations to find new ways to celebrate our diversity in our church and in our ministries
