click here to download the 2010 CIT application form

Counselors in Training is open to young people who are 16, 17 and 18 and not yet out of high school.

CITs lodge together with their adult mentors in the section of camp called “Tinuwen” – they’re screened in treehouse cabins separate from the rest of the camp.

They spend part of the time in a classroom setting, learning about child development and leadership skills.  The other time they spend with the campers.

They work together to plan the Thursday night camp activity (will they be Martians, pirates or characters from a board game this year?)

We’re looking for people who are willing to do their best to act responsibly and respectfully as part of our learning team.

  • enjoy working with children

  • want to learn how their spirituality connects to leadership

  • seeks to experience God is a natural setting

  • and wants to share these experiences with others

  • the ability to follow rules

  • a willingness to grow
